What this site does

6001Votes.com helps individuals prepare election-related emails to designated Local 6001 contacts. It is not an official union website or official union records system.

How the forms work

The information you enter remains in your browser and is used to prepare a draft email on your device. The website does not submit the form to a server, store the information, or send the message for you.

You control the final message

Your own email application opens with the recipients, subject line, and message filled in. You may review, edit, or cancel the message. Nothing is sent until you press Send in your own email app.

Recipients

Address-verification emails are addressed to Secretary Renee De La Garza and blind copied to everyballot1@gmail.com. Membership-status and ballot-assistance emails are addressed to the Election Committee, copied to Secretary Renee De La Garza, and blind copied to everyballot1@gmail.com.

Sensitive information

Do not enter Social Security numbers, employee numbers, union membership numbers, passwords, identification documents, medical information, or other sensitive information.

No guarantee

Creating or sending an email does not guarantee eligibility, an address change, delivery of a ballot, or issuance of a duplicate ballot. Those determinations remain with authorized union officials and the Election Committee.
